Maintain a healthy gut flora. Free from artificial fragrances, colors, or flavorings. Also suitable for the sensitive Swiss White Shepherd. Our ingredients To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog. Buffalo At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range, grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits. Poultry At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle growth and are rich in vitamins and minerals. Vegetables To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables are not only nutritious, but also have other beneficial properties. The fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things. Fruit We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, ensuring your dog receives all the essential, natural antioxidants. This can benefit your dog's immune system, contribute to fresh breath, and help maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote your dog's overall health. Herbs The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants and seaweed, among other things, has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in a dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants. Swiss White Shepherd specific vegetables, herbs and fruits We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Swiss White Shepherd. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and FCI breed group to which the Swiss White Shepherd belongs. Based on this research, and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, we have selected ingredients that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Swiss White Shepherd. Glucosamine Glucosamine is a naturally occurring substance found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid, and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates cartilage production and helps keep joints supple. Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case for older dogs or (over)weight dogs, but also increasingly for younger, very active dogs. For example, due to a hereditary predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food. Apple The apple tree is a tree of the genus Malus, on which the hand apples, well-known especially in the Northern Hemisphere, grow. The apple grows in temperate regions. Dietary fiber has a multifaceted function in the digestive tract. It is able to absorb moisture, making the stool soft and smooth. Furthermore, dietary fiber increases the volume in the intestines. This not only stimulates the functioning of the intestines, but also ensures thorough elimination of waste products. Apples are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. In addition, apples are rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that helps support a healthy gut flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the kibble, and apples are low in calories. Rich in vitamins A and C. Vitamin A is good for skin and coat and strengthens the immune system. Vitamin C supports muscle and bone development during the early years. Banana The banana plant grows in tropical areas where the temperature does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana was cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word "banaana" from the language of the Wolof people. Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and B11 (folic acid), and the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron, and zinc. The natural antioxidant, vitamin C, can strengthen the immune system. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a properly functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with hypertension, while magnesium can help relax muscles and promote bone growth. In addition, bananas contain a lot of good fiber and promote beneficial gut bacteria. Puppy, adult, or senior? For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Allow your dog two days to adjust. Next, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. Again, allow your dog two or three days to adjust. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. Your dog is now almost completely switched over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can switch to 100% Yourdog Swiss White Shepherd dog food at your own discretion. Storage instructions After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste.
