Our ingredients To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog. Buffalo At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range, grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits. Poultry At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle growth and are rich in vitamins and minerals. Vegetables To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables are not only nutritious, but also have other beneficial properties. The fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things. Fruit We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, ensuring your dog receives all the essential, natural antioxidants. This can benefit your dog's immune system, contribute to fresh breath, and help maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote your dog's overall health. Herbs The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants and seaweed, among other things, has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in a dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants. Irish Wolfhound specific vegetables, herbs and fruits We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Irish Wolfhound. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and FCI breed group to which the Irish Wolfhound belongs. Based on this research, and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Irish Wolfhound. Parsley Parsley is a biennial, hardy, herbaceous plant from the carrot family. Parsley has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years. It combats dozens of ailments. According to various sources, it cures diarrhea, anemia, and ear infections, among other things. It is rich in iron, more so than spinach, for example. Parsley also contains other minerals such as silicon, as well as vitamins B and C, and carotene. At Yourdog, we add parsley to dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems related to blood, heart, and kidneys. Parsley is a natural source of vitamins C, A, and K. This can contribute to a healthy immune system and eyesight, and can benefit the cardiovascular system and liver. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties and can have a diuretic effect, keeping a dog's bladder free of impurities. Marigold The calendula (marigold) is a plant that, like the goldenrod, belongs to the composite family. Calendula is a cultivated flower; it has been used for its various medicinal properties for years. The original calendula species probably originated in Asia and Eastern Europe, but this common marigold is rarely found in the wild anymore. Calendula is also an edible plant for humans and is rich in nutrients. There is a lot of information available about the positive effects of calendula. We can add calendula to dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems related to the skin, mouth, throat, digestion, eyes, and feet. It's particularly good for the recovery of skin and mucous membranes, it has anti-inflammatory properties, and it has a regenerative effect. It can also prevent cramps during the digestive process. Calendula is mainly used as an external care product for things like scrapes or skin problems. However, it can also be used internally due to its regenerative properties. Celery Celery is a plant belonging to the carrot family. The plant is often found along the coast in wet soil. Celery is rich in vitamins A, C, and K, but also contains a lot of folic acid and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, high in fiber, and very low in calories. We add celery to our dog food because it can positively contribute to supporting the dog's immune system and digestion. It can also have a positive effect on skin and coat, muscle and nerve function thanks to vitamin A, and maintaining strong bones thanks to vitamin K. Puppy, adult, or senior?
