Our ingredients
To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.
Buffalo
At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range, grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.
Poultry

Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Spanish Mastiff. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and FCI breed group to which the Spanish Mastiff belongs. Based on this research, and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Spanish Mastiff.
Chondroitin
Chondroitin occurs naturally in a dog's body and is one of the main components of cartilage tissue. In dogs, chondroitin is able to attract and retain moisture, which should provide a spongy cushioning effect in the cartilage.
Chondroitin improves cartilage flexibility and also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Furthermore, it stimulates the production of the building blocks necessary for healthy cartilage.
When chondroitin is given in combination with glucosamine, it supports and enhances the effect of glucosamine. Therefore, it is often given as a nutritional supplement for people and animals suffering from osteoarthritis.
Raspberries
The raspberry is a plant in the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. Raspberry cultivation dates back to the Middle Ages, and the plant is native to all of Europe.
Raspberries contain many substances that can support a dog's health, such as vitamins like vitamin C, minerals like manganese, and antioxidants. Furthermore, raspberries are low in sugar and calories and rich in good fiber.
Raspberries are added to our dog food because of their anti-inflammatory properties and their ability to positively contribute to the functioning of the immune system. Raspberries can also help maintain good eyesight and a healthy cardiovascular system.
Celery
Celery is a plant belonging to the carrot family. The plant is often found along the coast in wet soil.
Celery is rich in vitamins A, C, and K, but also contains a lot of folic acid and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, high in fiber, and very low in calories.
We add celery to our dog food because it can positively contribute to supporting the dog's immune system and digestion. It can also have a positive effect on skin and coat, muscle and nerve function thanks to vitamin A, and maintaining strong bones thanks to vitamin K.
Puppy, adult, or senior?
To help you choose the right variant of our Spanish Mastiff dog food, please use the following guidelines. If your Spanish Mastiff is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Spanish Mastiff older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Spanish Mastiff Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transfer advice
If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Allow your dog two days to adjust. Next, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. Again, allow your dog two or three days to adjust. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. Your dog is now almost completely switched over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can switch to 100% Yourdog Spanish Mastiff dog food at your own discretion.
Storage instructions
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it's important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight container in a dry, cool, and dark place. It's best not to put the food loose in the container, but to place the entire bag, tightly closed, inside.
