For a healthy immune system, for after recovery, medication use.
Properties per ingredient:
Vitamin A: plays an important role in the cell division of epithelial cells and has a positive effect on eye function, growth, and reproduction.
Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12: B vitamins are important for energy metabolism. They are involved in many reactions related to converting food into energy (e.g., citric acid cycle, glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation). They are also important in other reactions involving the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and amino acids. B vitamins are also important for the functioning of the nervous system. Skin, hair, and mucous membranes improve in condition through the use of B vitamins.
Vitamin C: activates the immune system and is important for collagen formation in tendons and ligaments. Although most animals can produce this themselves, a deficiency can occur under certain circumstances.
Vitamin D: regulates calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by promoting absorption from food in the intestines. It also ensures reabsorption of calcium and phosphorus in the kidneys. It promotes bone formation and mineralization of bone tissue and stimulates the immune system. It can be produced by the body under the influence of sunlight. Horses that spend a lot of time in the stable may be deficient in this vitamin.
Vitamin E: has an antioxidant effect, protecting unsaturated fatty acids from free radicals. It has a positive effect on blood vessels, prevents blood clot formation, improves blood circulation, and strengthens capillary walls. Vitamin E plays a role in the formation and protection of red blood cells against toxins. It supplies organs, and especially muscles, with oxygen. It plays a role in the transmission of nerve impulses.
Bioflavonoids (95% Hesperidin): act as antioxidants and improve the absorption of vitamin C. They also promote healthy blood vessels and good blood circulation.
Folic acid: is a B vitamin. It plays an important role in methylation processes and is therefore important in cell division and in growth and differentiation processes. It is also involved, along with vitamin B12, in the breakdown of proteins and in amino acid metabolism. Furthermore, folic acid and vitamin B12 help in the production of red blood cells.
Inositol: is closely associated with choline and is an important nutrient for brain cells; it
improves stress management.
PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid): is important for, among other things, the health of the digestive system and skin. It is also involved in the function of immune cells and red blood cells.
Bamboo extract: contains silicon. This is important for the condition of connective tissue and blood vessel walls. It promotes an increase in collagen.
Calcium: is important for bone and tooth formation and plays an important role in muscle contraction.
Dosage and application:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor or therapist.
The optimal dosage is 1 time per day.
Dog > 25 kg 4 scoops
Dog 10-25 kg 2½ scoops
Dog < 10 kg and cat 1 scoop
1 measuring scoop contains approximately 1 gram.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dose. The product will still be effective, but the response may take a little longer.
Administration
Moisten the powder so that it cannot be blown out of the feeder.
Instructions for use
To maintain optimal immunity, it's essential that an animal receives sufficient amounts of all necessary vitamins and minerals. In autumn, for example, the immunity of many dogs – just like humans – decreases somewhat due to the changing weather and the transition from summer to winter coat. To prevent an animal from becoming susceptible to diseases, a good vitamin and mineral supplement can be given preventively. PUUR Vitamins and Minerals contains a balanced composition of all necessary vitamins and minerals and can be excellently given as a supplement to the food, for example, for older dogs or puppies. It can also be very well supplemented as extra support after recovery from illness. Contrary to what is often claimed, when supplementing with vitamin and mineral preparations, it is necessary to give the supplement for a longer period. A one-time 'vitamin shot' via injection, as is often recommended, has little effect and certainly not in the long term. The body needs time to recover and absorb all vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities, and that doesn't happen in one day!
Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 2 to 6 weeks. Continue administering this product for a few more weeks after improvement.
For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dose indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be necessary initially; this product can be safely given at double the dose. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible level. This product can be given indefinitely.
