Composition:
Per 3 grams: 2085 mg Psyllium Husk, 626 mg Methylsulfonylmethane, 104 mg Bentonite, 60 mg N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, 8.1 mg Magnesium (as citrate), Enterococcus faecium and Fructo Oligo Saccharides. A dilution of Magnesium phosphoricum.
Indication(s):
For a properly functioning digestive system. For loose stools due to a viral or bacterial infection or from eating something wrong. For constipation.
Properties per ingredient: Psyllium husk has the property of absorbing a lot of moisture. In case of loose stools, it absorbs excess intestinal fluid, and in case of constipation, it softens the intestinal contents – provided sufficient water is consumed. Psyllium husk also has a neutralizing effect on toxins in the intestines.
Methylsulfonylmethane is an organic sulfur compound and, in addition to being an important mineral building block, is very important for detoxification processes in the body.
Bentonite binds toxins and heavy metals, allowing them to be excreted in the stool.
N-Acetyl-Glucosamine is an important building block for the intestinal mucosa and contributes to a rapid recovery of the intestinal wall.
Magnesium (as citrate) and Magnesium phosphoricum have a relaxing effect, and magnesium requirements are also increased with loose stools.
Enterococcus faecium probiotics are beneficial gut bacteria. These bacterial strains are protected so they can successfully pass through the stomach without being destroyed by stomach acid. Good gut bacteria are crucial for proper nutrient absorption and optimal immunity. These beneficial gut bacteria lower the acidity in the gut. They produce substances that combat pathogenic bacteria, thus reducing the risk of intestinal infections. In addition, they contribute to good digestion through the production of enzymes and produce short-chain fatty acids, a very important nutrient for the intestinal cells. Good condition of the intestinal cells is necessary to prevent pathogens from entering the bloodstream through the intestinal wall. The development of allergies is also linked to excessive permeability of the intestinal wall.
Dosage and application:

The optimal dosage is 2 times a day:
Dog > 25 kg 2 scoops
Dog 10-25 kg 1½ scoops
Dog < 10 kg and cat 1 scoop
1 tablespoon contains approximately 3 grams.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dose. The product will still be effective, but the response may take a little longer.
Administration: Can be given over the food. Moisten the food or powder to prevent it from being blown out of the food bowl. In case of constipation, give it with plenty of water and ensure that there is always enough fresh drinking water available.
Instructions for use: If your dog or cat doesn't like the product, the powder can be mixed with some meat, fish, yogurt or other treats. Always ensure high-quality nutrition.
How long does treatment with this product last? The effect of the treatment should be visible within 1 to 2 days. For an acute complaint, the treatment duration is relatively short, ranging from 1 to 3 weeks. Continue administering the product for a few days after the complaint has disappeared. For a chronic condition, the treatment duration is longer. After the complaints have subsided, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dose indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the dose. Gradually reduce the dose as the complaints lessen or disappear, to the lowest possible dose. This product can be administered continuously for chronic complaints.
Storage Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children.
Synergy and combinations with other products: This product can be used without any problems in combination with other natural health products and conventional medicines. The use of PUUR Probiotics is recommended for food sensitivities and food allergies. For loose stools, use in combination with PUUR Diarrhea to support the intestinal lining.
