Energique Special is a meat-based dog food for dogs with skin and/or intestinal problems. It has been shown that dogs with intestinal problems no longer experience diarrhea after eight weeks of Energique Special.

Skin problems
Energique Speciaal is also effective in treating various skin problems. A skin condition is usually a result of an underlying illness that has weakened the dog's immune system. Energique Speciaal is highly digestible thanks to lamb, rice, and oil rich in natural vitamin E. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, similar to vitamin C, that limits the damage caused by free radicals.

Ideal balance:
Furthermore, Energique Speciaal contains the ideal balance of proteins, rice, and oils, 85% of which consists of unsaturated fatty acids. As a treatment, we recommend that the dog only be fed Energique Speciaal for 12 to 16 weeks. After this "treatment," the dog can switch to Energique for adult dogs. Alternatively, the dog can continue to eat Energique Speciaal for the rest of its life, as this is also a complete (balanced) diet.

For puppies:
For puppies with intestinal and/or skin problems, we recommend starting immediately with Energique Speciaal. For every 2.5 kilograms of body weight, give approximately 100 grams of Energique Speciaal per day. This is an average, depending on the puppy's activity level. The puppy should always have access to fresh water (serve Energique at room temperature).
