History

The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is a rare dog breed with roots in the southeastern United States. Originally bred in the 19th century to guard plantations and manage livestock, the name "Blue Blood" refers to its aristocratic appearance and the value breeders placed on these dogs. The breed was nearly extinct, but thanks to dedicated breeding programs, it has been preserved.
