    Out of stock

Pure Nature Tranquil (Calm) Dog and Cat 75gr Puur Natuur Tranquil (Calm) Dog and Cat 75gr provides calm and relaxation over a longer period during stressful situations such as fireworks. This supplementary animal food is suitable for dogs and cats. Composition: per 1 gram, Dong Quai, Hop (Humulus lupulus), Ginkgo biloba, Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha), St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum), 90.1 mg L-Tryptophan, 90.1 mg Vitamin B3 (nicotinamide), 73.0 mg Magnesium (as citrate), 37.4 mg Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCl), 28.5 mg Zinc (as L-methionine) and 9.12 mg Inositol. A dilution of Natrium phosphoricum. For relaxation and rest over an extended period. Properties per ingredient : Dong quai (Angelica sinensis) Angelica sinensis – Chinese angelica root: Originally, Dong Quai was used for its balancing effects on the female hormonal system. Dong Quai may help reduce discomfort and cramps, mood swings, irritability, and bloating. Humulus Lupulus, this herb has a strong relaxing and calming effect. Hops also promote digestion. Ginkgo biloba for better concentration and memory. St. John's Wort is used as a mental tonic. Inositol has a calming effect. This Vitamin B3 compound consists of six niacin molecules bound to one molecule of inositol, an unofficial B vitamin. Once this compound enters the body, the molecule is slowly broken down, and niacin is gradually released into the bloodstream, where it can exert its effect. The presence of inositol slows down the release of niacin. Two-styled hawthorn (Crataegus) for the heart. It is prescribed, among other things, for nervousness. L-Tryptophan has a calming effect. L-Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, but it is not abundantly present in animal diets. It is the sole precursor of the neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin levels in the brain can be increased by ingesting L-Tryptophan. L-Tryptophan has appetite-suppressing properties, so it can be used for weight loss. Magnesium and vitamin B6 also play an important role in the conversion of L-tryptophan into serotonin and have been added for this reason. (Source: Natura Foundation monograph) Magnesium is also called the anti-stress mineral. It has antispasmodic and relaxing properties and performs a large number of essential functions in the body. Magnesium deficiency often manifests as muscle cramps and fatigue. A magnesium deficiency generally results in restlessness. The duration of action of Vitamin B3 is extended by L-Tryptophan. (Source: Natura Foundation monograph) Vitamin B3 Niacin is the building block of the co-enzymes NAD+ and NADP+: More than 200 enzymes depend on these co-enzymes for their function. Because NAD and NADP are essential for, among other things, energy metabolism, it is logical that niacin supplementation improves energy levels and is successfully used in the treatment of fatigue, irritability, and for good digestion. Niacin is particularly used to counteract strong mood swings. (Source: Natura Foundation monograph) Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hcl) is a co-factor and enhances the effects of magnesium and L-Tryptophan. Zinc (as L-methionine) supports mental alertness. Inositol has a calming effect. Dosage and application: Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor or therapist. The optimal dosage is 1-2 times a day: Dog > 25 kg 3 scoops Dog 10-25 kg 2 scoops Dog < 10 kg Cat 1 scoop shovel 1 measuring scoop contains approximately 1 gram. Administer Can be mixed with food. Because this powder contains herbs, it is recommended to start with a small amount to allow the animal to get used to the taste. Moisten the powder to prevent it from being blown out of the food bowl. Instructions for use Each animal reacts differently to the stated dosage. The dosage is quite precise; pay close attention to the animal's behavior. If the result is insufficient, slowly increase the dosage. Once the desired behavior is achieved, a maintenance dosage can be sought, gradually reducing it to about half of the indicated daily dosage. Treatment duration In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. Continue administering this product for a few more days even if you see improvement. For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dose indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the dose. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible level. This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to take a break for one week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the break. Resume treatment immediately if necessary. Save Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is indicated on the label and the box. Synergy and combinations with other products This product can be used safely in combination with natural health products and conventional medicines. PUUR Rust can be combined with PUUR Nervositeit for anxiety related to thunderstorms, fireworks, or loud noises. PUUR Magnesium or Phytonics Magnesium citrate reduce muscle tension and overall physical tension. Phytonics Strezz has a synergistic effect with PUUR Rust. Reduce Stress: Help Your Dog Stay Calm During Fireworks and Other Stressful Moments

Fireworks anxiety is one of the most common stress triggers for dogs, especially during holidays like New Year’s Eve or Independence Day. The loud bangs, flashing lights, and unusual smells can cause fear and restlessness. At Fidello, you’ll find a wide range of calming products and practical tips to help your dog feel safe and relaxed — no matter the situation.

Why Are Fireworks So Stressful for Dogs?

Dogs have much more sensitive hearing than humans, so fireworks can sound overwhelming. The combination of loud noises, vibrations, and bright flashes can easily lead to fear or panic. Common signs of fireworks stress include:

  • Trembling, panting, or hiding.
  • Excessive barking or whining.
  • Restless behavior such as pacing or licking.
  • Loss of appetite or potty accidents.

It’s important to take fireworks anxiety seriously. Repeated exposure to loud noises can make fear worse over time and may even lead to long-term behavioral or health issues.

Calming Products for Firework Anxiety

At Fidello, we’ve selected safe and effective calming products to help your dog through stressful times like fireworks, thunderstorms, or travel:

  • Calming sprays and diffusers: Contain pheromones that mimic a sense of safety and comfort. Use them indoors several days before fireworks start.
  • Calming supplements: Natural supplements with ingredients like valerian root, L-tryptophan, or chamomile — help your dog relax from the inside out.
  • Calming vests: Gentle pressure wraps that help reduce anxiety by creating a sense of security.
  • Soothing blankets and beds: Give your dog a cozy, quiet place to retreat when fireworks begin.

Tips to Reduce Fireworks Stress

In addition to calming products, these steps can help your dog stay relaxed during noisy celebrations:

  1. Create a safe space: Set up a quiet, enclosed area where your dog feels secure — such as a crate covered with a soft blanket or a calm corner of the house.
  2. Close windows and curtains: This helps muffle loud sounds and block flashing lights.
  3. Play soothing music: Use white noise, classical music, or calming playlists to mask fireworks sounds.
  4. Stay calm yourself: Dogs sense your emotions — avoid over-comforting, as it can reinforce their fear.
  5. Don’t leave your dog alone: If possible, stay home during fireworks to reassure your dog with your presence.

When to Start Preparing

Begin preparation weeks before fireworks season. Introduce calming products like diffusers or supplements early, so they have time to take effect. For dogs with severe anxiety, consider working with a professional behaviorist for desensitization training using controlled firework sounds.
