Common goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea)
Herbal preparations based on common goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea L.) have been successfully used in the treatment of urinary tract conditions for centuries. Good for kidney function and urinary tract health.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the water element is most involved in joint function. This element is associated with kidney energy. Solidago has a positive effect on kidney energy.
In ancient Chinese philosophy, there is the imagery that states: "Imbalance in the joints is caused by a deficiency of Jing in the kidneys. It pulls, tears, and wanders like a rudderless log in slowly flowing rivers (meridians), always seeking the freedom of the sea and marrow." This imagery means that there is a deficiency of Jing (essence) in the kidneys, resulting in a general malaise. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, such a deficiency affects the back, brain, teeth, and bone marrow. Hippocrates described how, in a poorly functioning patient, the perverse energy of cold and dampness settles in the water of the kidneys. The cold and dampness settle on the life energy anchored in the kidney and adrenal gland (Jing). The best remedy for this is to raise the temperature in the liver and lungs (showing anger) and to release fears (kidneys).
Boswellia
Provides relief. The resin of the Boswellia serrata tree is used in Indian Ayurvedic treatment to promote smooth movement.
Dosage and application:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor or therapist.
Horse: 20-30 drops 1-2 times daily
Dog: 10-15 drops 1-2 times a day
Cat: 5-10 drops 1-2 times a day

The product can be given directly into the mouth or with some water using a plastic spoon or syringe. Alternatively, it can be dripped onto something tasty. Administer PUUR Arthro at least half an hour before or after meals so that it can be absorbed by the clean mucous membrane of the mouth.
Save
PUUR Arthro has a long shelf life when stored at room temperature, in a dry place, and out of direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is indicated on the label and the box.
Instructions for use
For stiff movements, it's generally advisable to take the animal for walks frequently. Straight-line movements, walking, and trotting are particularly good for keeping the joints supple, and swimming is also very beneficial. Sudden stops and quick turns, such as those that occur during play with other animals and throwing sticks and balls (in dogs), should be avoided. These put too much strain on the joints.
Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. Continue administering this product for a few more days even if you see improvement.
For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dose indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the dose. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible level.
This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to take a break for one week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the break. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.
Save
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is indicated on the label and the box.
Contraindications
Always use in consultation with the attending veterinarian during pregnancy and lactation.
Side effects
To date, no side effects of this product have been reported. With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This indicates that the animal is responding to the product. In case of a serious increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually increase it again.
Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without any problems in combination with other natural health products and conventional medicines, such as painkillers.
Administer this product for bone formation around the joint in combination with PUUR Osteo. For smooth movement in the hips, PUUR Dyspla is indicated. PUUR Glucosamine complete contains building blocks for the production/building of cartilage (in the joints) and can be very well combined with PUUR Arthro. For a smooth hindquarters, PUUR Spondy can be given.
