How to Teach Your Dog to 'Carry Groceries'

1. Start with a light bag: Fill a bag with light, safe items and let your dog get used to it.
2. Introduce the command: Say "Groceries" or "Carry" while holding out the bag. Reward him as soon as he picks it up.
3. Guide the movement: Let your dog walk a short distance with the bag and reward him as soon as he brings it to you.
4. Increase the distance: Build up slowly by placing the bag further and further away, for example, near the front door.
5. Refine the behavior: Practice until your dog picks up the bag independently and brings it to you.

• Use a comfortable bag: Choose a bag with soft handles to prevent discomfort.
• Stay patient: This trick may take some time to fully master.
• Make it more challenging: Add more weight once your dog is comfortable carrying the bag.
