Easy2Do claw glue is an effective and safe aid for livestock farmers and vets. It is used to glue rubber or wooden blocks under healthy parts of the hooves in order to relieve infected parts of the claws. This technique is also known as claw block gluing and is a method of reducing pressure on the infected claw. The glue is easy to use thanks to its two-component PU (polyurethane) composition. Mixing it yourself is no longer necessary; the mixing nozzle does this in the right ratio. The glue dries quickly, within 20-30 seconds, and is effective at room temperature. This makes application fast and efficient, without losing much time waiting for it to dry. A big advantage of Easy2Do claw glue is that it is practically odourless. This is a huge difference compared with the traditional way of gluing blocks on cows. This makes use safer for both the animals and the user. The glue is suitable for both wooden and rubber blocks. This gives the user the flexibility to choose the material that best suits the situation. Easy2Do claw glue is produced in Europe and complies with EU REACH regulations for consistent quality. This guarantees that the glue is safe for use on animals and that the quality is consistent. In summary: Easy2Do claw glue is a safe, efficient and practically odourless aid for livestock farmers and vets. It is used to glue rubber or wooden blocks under healthy parts of the hooves in order to relieve infected parts of the claws. The glue dries quickly, is suitable for both wooden and rubber blocks and complies with EU REACH regulations for consistent quality. All the benefits at a glance: Safe and practically odourless to work with. Bonds within 20-30 seconds. Suitable for gluing claw blocks in both summer and winter. Suitable for wooden and rubber blocks. Thanks to the mixing nozzle, mixing yourself is no longer necessary. Produced in Europe. Complies with EU REACH rules and legislation for consistent quality.

A few goats behind the house, a flock of sheep in the field, a dairy barn or two free-range pigs: if you keep ruminants or pigs, you need different tools from a dog or cat owner. This page is the starting point for all farm animals at Fidello. You will not find a loose pile of products here, but four entry points by species, so you quickly get to the teats, hoof knives, marker sticks or barn supplies that belong with your animals.

Four species, four entry points

  • Everything for your goats: rearing goat kids, hoof care, minerals and licks, and supplies for the barn and feeding area.
  • Everything for your sheep: the whole sheep year, from tupping and lambing to shearing, foot trimming and dosing.
  • Cattle: calf rearing, calving, udder and hoof care, boluses and drenching equipment for dairy and beef cattle.
  • Pigs: a small, clear selection with enrichment material, barn tools and needles.

Goats and sheep share a lot of equipment: a lamb teat, a foot-trimming knife or a drench syringe works for both. Still, each has its own section, because their care differs on important points, for example copper in minerals and the way you house them.

Before the animals arrive: registration and a place

In the Netherlands, sheep, goats, cattle and pigs fall under the rules for identification and registration: the location where the animals are kept needs a UBN (holding number), even if you keep only one or two as a hobby. Most other countries have comparable rules for holding registration, ear tags (for sheep and goats often including an electronic tag) and reporting births and movements; separate rules usually apply to pigs. Check what applies in your country and sort this out before you buy animals; the seller will usually ask about it.

Also think about a dry, draught-free shelter, sturdy fencing and a place to restrain animals calmly when you want to check hooves or give something. If you arrange that in advance, you do not have to think about it the moment an animal goes lame or a ewe starts lambing.

What do you choose on? A quick guide

First choose your species, then the time of year. In spring, sheep and goats are all about lambs and kids: bottles, teats, colostrum and warmth. In summer, fleece and flies need attention. In autumn, the ram goes in with the ewes and you get out marker sticks and a raddle harness. Hoof care and minerals continue all year round. With tools, look at the number of animals you have: for three sheep, a hand syringe or simple foot-trimming knife is enough; for a flock of dozens, an automatic drench gun or a large footbath pays off.

What you will not find here

We do not sell wormers or other veterinary medicines. Those go through your vet, who is also best placed to judge whether and when treatment is needed. At Fidello you will find the equipment around them: dosing syringes, gloves, applicators, pill givers and care products. If you have doubts about an animal's health, consult your vet first.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to register two goats in the garden?
In most countries, yes. Even if you keep one or a few goats, sheep or pigs as a hobby, the holding and animals usually have to be registered. Check the rules in your country and sort this out before the animals arrive.

Can I use sheep supplies for goats too?
For much of the equipment, yes, such as teats, foot-trimming knives and drench syringes. With minerals and licks you need to be careful, because copper requirements differ between sheep, goats and even breeds.

Do you sell wormers for sheep or goats?
No. Wormers and veterinary medicines go through your vet. We do supply the dosing and care equipment.

Where can I find supplies for calves?
Calf rearing, calving and other cattle products are in cattle.
