  • Excellent All-Mineral Plus 20 st

Excellent Excellent All-Mineral Plus 20 pcs

    Out of stock

The All-Mineral Plus bolus is a revolutionary mineral formula for cattle that can be used for both young stock and adult cattle. With an effective duration of 6 months, this bolus is an efficient and cost-effective way to support the growth, fertility and health of your livestock. Our bolus contains a unique combination of vitamins and minerals specifically tailored to the needs of cattle. Field research has shown that the All-Mineral Plus bolus leads to: Optimal growth; Ideal mineral supply; Improved fertility; Higher calving weight. The recommended feeding advice is 2 All-Mineral Plus boluses per animal weighing 150 kg or more. The bolus slowly starts to dissolve at the flat end, and the coating around the bolus ensures it dissolves gradually over a period of 180 days (6 months). Administering 2 boluses is necessary to meet today's requirements for trace elements and vitamins. In addition, the two boluses knock against each other, keeping the release constant. It is recommended to give young stock 2 All-Mineral Plus boluses when turning out to pasture and 2 boluses when housing. Field research shows that the All-Mineral Plus bolus reduces the calving age of heifers by 40 days. The bolus also reduces the number of inseminations per probable conception by 75%. The All-Mineral Plus bolus also leads to an average growth of 134 kg, compared with 121 kg in animals without a bolus. That is a difference of 13 kg or 10%. If you are looking for an effective way to support the growth, fertility and health of your cattle, the All-Mineral Plus bolus is the perfect choice. The bolus is a cost-effective solution that pays for itself. So, is your young stock going into the barn or out to pasture? The All-Mineral Plus bolus belongs with it! Why more and more farmers are choosing a mineral bolus:Giving cows a mineral bolus is an effective way to support the health of your herd. Unlike powdered minerals, a bolus is administered directly into the cow's stomach using a suitable bolus applicator, so the minerals are released continuously for 6 months. This helps maintain a constant mineral balance and prevent any deficiencies. One of the advantages of using a bolus is the easy administration. Instead of giving powdered minerals by mouth, a bolus only needs to be given once. This saves time and reduces the risk of errors. Another advantage of a bolus is better mineral absorption. Because the bolus is administered directly into the stomach, mineral absorption can be improved compared with giving powdered minerals by mouth. In addition, using a bolus leads to less mess in the barn, as no minerals are lost through feed refusals or the cow's behaviour. One of the most important advantages of boluses is that they do not depend on the cow's taste. This means that ingredients that are less palatable but necessary for maintaining the cow's health, such as certain minerals or vitamins, can be included in the bolus without the cow being aware of it and without depending on whether the cow wants to eat it. In summary: a mineral bolus offers many benefits for supporting herd health, such as continuous release of minerals, easy administration, better absorption, less mess in the barn and no restrictions in the choice of ingredients, because palatability is not relevant! Packaging ALLM0002 - Box of 20 All-Mineral Plus boluses (= enough for 10 cows)The bolus can be administered using the coloured rings in the bolus applicator (27 mm).

A few goats behind the house, a flock of sheep in the field, a dairy barn or two free-range pigs: if you keep ruminants or pigs, you need different tools from a dog or cat owner. This page is the starting point for all farm animals at Fidello. You will not find a loose pile of products here, but four entry points by species, so you quickly get to the teats, hoof knives, marker sticks or barn supplies that belong with your animals.

Four species, four entry points

  • Everything for your goats: rearing goat kids, hoof care, minerals and licks, and supplies for the barn and feeding area.
  • Everything for your sheep: the whole sheep year, from tupping and lambing to shearing, foot trimming and dosing.
  • Cattle: calf rearing, calving, udder and hoof care, boluses and drenching equipment for dairy and beef cattle.
  • Pigs: a small, clear selection with enrichment material, barn tools and needles.

Goats and sheep share a lot of equipment: a lamb teat, a foot-trimming knife or a drench syringe works for both. Still, each has its own section, because their care differs on important points, for example copper in minerals and the way you house them.

Before the animals arrive: registration and a place

In the Netherlands, sheep, goats, cattle and pigs fall under the rules for identification and registration: the location where the animals are kept needs a UBN (holding number), even if you keep only one or two as a hobby. Most other countries have comparable rules for holding registration, ear tags (for sheep and goats often including an electronic tag) and reporting births and movements; separate rules usually apply to pigs. Check what applies in your country and sort this out before you buy animals; the seller will usually ask about it.

Also think about a dry, draught-free shelter, sturdy fencing and a place to restrain animals calmly when you want to check hooves or give something. If you arrange that in advance, you do not have to think about it the moment an animal goes lame or a ewe starts lambing.

What do you choose on? A quick guide

First choose your species, then the time of year. In spring, sheep and goats are all about lambs and kids: bottles, teats, colostrum and warmth. In summer, fleece and flies need attention. In autumn, the ram goes in with the ewes and you get out marker sticks and a raddle harness. Hoof care and minerals continue all year round. With tools, look at the number of animals you have: for three sheep, a hand syringe or simple foot-trimming knife is enough; for a flock of dozens, an automatic drench gun or a large footbath pays off.

What you will not find here

We do not sell wormers or other veterinary medicines. Those go through your vet, who is also best placed to judge whether and when treatment is needed. At Fidello you will find the equipment around them: dosing syringes, gloves, applicators, pill givers and care products. If you have doubts about an animal's health, consult your vet first.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to register two goats in the garden?
In most countries, yes. Even if you keep one or a few goats, sheep or pigs as a hobby, the holding and animals usually have to be registered. Check the rules in your country and sort this out before the animals arrive.

Can I use sheep supplies for goats too?
For much of the equipment, yes, such as teats, foot-trimming knives and drench syringes. With minerals and licks you need to be careful, because copper requirements differ between sheep, goats and even breeds.

Do you sell wormers for sheep or goats?
No. Wormers and veterinary medicines go through your vet. We do supply the dosing and care equipment.

Where can I find supplies for calves?
Calf rearing, calving and other cattle products are in cattle.
