Our ingredients
To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.
Buffalo
At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range, grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.
Poultry
At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle growth and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables are not only nutritious, but also have other beneficial properties. The fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, ensuring your dog receives all the essential, natural antioxidants. This can benefit your dog's immune system, contribute to fresh breath, and help maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote your dog's overall health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants and seaweed, among other things, has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in a dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.
Tibetan Terrier specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Tibetan Terrier. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and FCI breed group to which the Tibetan Terrier belongs. Based on this research, and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, we have selected ingredients that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Tibetan Terrier.
Echinacea
Echinacea belongs to the Asteraceae family, which is native to eastern North America. Several plants in this family are attributed medicinal properties; Echinacea, in particular, is associated with strengthening the immune system and fighting respiratory infections.
Studies have shown that echinacea can have an anti-inflammatory effect in dogs. Blood tests have also demonstrated that it has a positive effect on the health and resistance of dogs. For example, it can reduce cold symptoms such as a runny nose and coughing.
At Yourdog, we add echinacea to our dog food because it can positively contribute to strengthening the dog's immune system and can contribute to overall health.
Marigold
The calendula (marigold) is a plant that, like the goldenrod, belongs to the composite family. Calendula is a cultivated flower; it has been used for its various medicinal properties for years. The original calendula species probably originated in Asia and Eastern Europe, but this common marigold is rarely found in the wild anymore. Calendula is also an edible plant for humans and is rich in nutrients.
There is a lot of information available about the positive effects of calendula. We can add calendula to dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems related to the skin, mouth, throat, digestion, eyes, and feet. It's particularly good for the recovery of skin and mucous membranes, it has anti-inflammatory properties, and it has a regenerative effect. It can also prevent cramps during the digestive process.
Calendula is mainly used as an external care product for things like scrapes or skin problems. However, it can also be used internally due to its regenerative properties.
Raspberries
The raspberry is a plant in the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. Raspberry cultivation dates back to the Middle Ages, and the plant is native to all of Europe.
Raspberries contain many substances that can support a dog's health, such as vitamins like vitamin C, minerals like manganese, and antioxidants. Furthermore, raspberries are low in sugar and calories and rich in good fiber.
Raspberries are added to our dog food because of their anti-inflammatory properties and their ability to positively contribute to the functioning of the immune system. Raspberries can also help maintain good eyesight and a healthy cardiovascular system.

Next, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. Again, allow your dog two or three days to adjust. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. Your dog is now almost completely switched over to Yourdog. Do this for two days. After this, you can switch to 100% Yourdog Tibetan Terrier dog food at your own discretion.
