Securely attach to your bicycle
The Trixie Bicycle Trailer comes with a universal hitch that easily attaches to the rear axle of your bike. This hitch fits most standard bikes, but is also often suitable for electric bikes with a standard rear axle. Do you have an electric bike with a non-standard axle or rear hub? Check beforehand whether the hitch fits or ask your bicycle mechanic.
Inside the trailer, you'll find a sturdy safety strap with a carabiner that you can use to secure your dog to its harness. This prevents your dog from unexpectedly jumping up or trying to jump out of the trailer. The combination of secure attachment to the bike and the internal tie-down option makes this bike trailer a safe choice for virtually any situation.
