For a healthy bladder. For a healthy urinary tract.
Properties per ingredient: Cranberry is a very sour berry. It was long believed that the acidity of this berry created an unfavorable environment for bacteria in the bladder. However, research has shown that this effect is based on a different mechanism. It is primarily the red pigments, proanthocyanidins, in cranberries that prevent bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall. This prevents bacteria from multiplying: they are excreted in the urine before they can cause problems. The concentration of cranberry is crucial. Many cranberry-based supplements contain some of the berry, but not enough to have a powerful effect. For this reason, Cranberry Complete has been chosen at a ratio of 1:25, meaning that one kilogram of extract is obtained from 25 kg of cranberry, which is highly concentrated.
Vitamin C (as L-Ascorbic acid) makes the urine more acidic and the environment for bacteria in the bladder even less attractive.

Advice for use: Always provide good-quality food. Provide plenty of fresh drinking water. For a healthy bladder for dogs and cats. In dogs, the most common cause of an unhealthy bladder is a bacterial infection: bacteria enter the bladder through the urethra and multiply there. With an unhealthy bladder, urination is often difficult and the urine is very small. The urine may be cloudy and may even contain blood. Sometimes urination is visibly painful. To prevent a bladder infection from spreading to the kidneys, antibiotics are usually used. However, bladder infections tend to recur. Repeated antibiotic treatments are not recommended for several reasons, one of which is antibiotic resistance.
