History
The Andalusian Podenco is an ancient breed originating in Southern Spain. Originally bred to hunt rabbits and other small game in the rugged Andalusian landscape, their keen senses, speed, and stamina made them ideal hunting companions. Today, the Podenco is also appreciated as a companion dog.
